For course creators

Get verified. Build trust. Get discovered.

TrustMyCourse independently reviews online courses. Approved courses receive a public verification profile, may display the TrustMyCourse Verified mark, and can appear in the relevant course categories.

Why get verified

What an approved course gets

Verification produces a public record. Everything below follows from that record existing and being checkable.

  1. Get verified

A public TrustMyCourse verification record shows what was reviewed and when. Passing is a statement about your course that you did not write yourself.

  2. Build trust

Approved courses may display the TrustMyCourse Verified mark and link it back to their public record, so a cold visitor can check the claim rather than take it on faith.

  3. Get discovered

Verified courses can appear in the relevant TrustMyCourse categories and course discovery pages, in front of people already looking for that subject.

Founding courses

Become a founding course

TrustMyCourse is building its first independent course directory and is selecting courses for it now. Courses selected during the launch period can complete verification at no cost.

There is no fee during the founding period, and selection does not guarantee verification. Every course is assessed against the same published standard.

An approved founding course gets

  • TrustMyCourse Verified status
  • A public course profile showing what was checked and when
  • A listing in the relevant course categories
  • Access to the TrustMyCourse Verified mark for your own site

The process

How it works

Five steps, no account and no payment. Not every submission reaches the last one.

  1. Step 1: Submit your course

Send basic details about the course and how we might review it. It takes a couple of minutes and needs no account.

  2. Step 2: We review the submission

We confirm whether the course is suitable for review and agree a verification method with you.

  3. Step 3: Provide access or evidence

Either give us reviewer access to the course, or provide evidence from people who bought it. Both routes lead to the same standard.

  4. Step 4: Verification decision

A reviewer works through the published criteria. If the evidence meets the standard, the course receives Verified status.

  5. Step 5: Your public profile goes live

Approved courses get a dated public verification record and may display the Verified mark. Not every submission reaches this step.

The badge

A mark your buyers can check.

Every approved course receives a TrustMyCourse Verified badge to display wherever it sells. It is not decoration: it links back to the course’s public verification profile, so anyone can confirm the status for themselves.

It links to the public record
The badge points at the course profile on TrustMyCourse, so a buyer can read what was checked instead of taking a graphic at face value.
It carries a date
The profile shows when the most recent review was completed and when the next one is due.
It reflects the current status
If verification lapses or is withdrawn, the profile the badge links to says so.

Also supplied as

Verifiedby TrustMyCourseVerified

A dark variant and a compact mark, so the badge sits properly on any page without being redrawn.

Using the badge

Displaying the Verified mark

Approved courses receive a badge and the snippet below. It is a single image and a link — no script, no tracking, nothing to install.

The badge is not the proof. The profile it links to is, and it shows the live status — so a copied badge cannot make an expired verification look current on TrustMyCourse.

Example embed code

<a href="https://trustmycourse.com/course/YOUR-COURSE-SLUG">
  <img src="https://trustmycourse.com/badge/trustmycourse-verified.svg"
       alt="Verified by TrustMyCourse"
       width="228" height="56">
</a>

A dark-background version is also supplied. We send the exact snippet, with your course profile address filled in, when a course is approved.

Usage rules

  • Only a course holding current Verified status may present the badge as current.
  • The badge must link to that course’s TrustMyCourse profile, which shows the live status.
  • The badge must not be altered, recoloured or relabelled in a way that changes what it says.
  • It applies to the verified course only — not automatically to your other products.
  • If verification lapses or is withdrawn, we may ask for the badge to be removed.

Discovery

An additional way to be found.

A verified listing puts your course in front of people already browsing that subject. We will not promise search rankings or traffic volumes — nobody can honestly guarantee those — but a permanent public profile and a place in the right categories is a channel you do not have today.

  1. A learner browses a subject

Someone looking for a course in your field opens the relevant TrustMyCourse category.

  2. They open a verification profile

Your course profile shows what it teaches, who it is for, what it costs and what was checked.

  3. They follow the link to you

The profile links to your own page, where the sale happens on your terms.

Verified

Earned, never sold

Verified status is the result of a review. A creator pays for the review to be carried out, never for its outcome, and a course that does not meet the standard is not verified at any price.

Featured — paid placement, not a verification result

Advertising, always labelled

Featured placement is advertising. It will appear in its own labelled section above ordinary results, never mixed into them, and it changes nothing about whether or how a course is verified.

Questions

Before you submit

Does submitting guarantee verification?

No. Submitting starts a review; it does not decide one. We assess the available evidence against the published standard, and a course that does not meet it is not verified. Being selected for a founding review changes nothing about that.

Do founding courses pay for verification?

No. Courses selected for review during the founding period are not charged. That covers the review itself — it does not buy an outcome, and it does not buy placement anywhere on the site.

Will verification always be free?

We are not promising that. Founding terms apply during the launch period, and pricing may differ afterwards. Anyone reviewed under founding terms will be told before anything changes for them.

Can I pay for a better verification result?

No. No payment, now or later, can change a verification decision. Featured placement is advertising: it can move a course into a labelled section on a category page and nothing else. A course cannot buy a featured slot unless it already holds current Verified status.

Which review methods do you use?

Two: a direct course review, where you give us reviewer access, and a buyer evidence review, where we assess evidence from people who bought the course. Both can result in the same Verified status, and the method used is always stated on your public profile.

What happens if my course changes later?

Verification carries a date and a scheduled re-check. If the course or its public offer changes materially, we may re-check it earlier. Verification can be renewed, can expire, and can be withdrawn — and the public record shows the dates either way.

Ready to submit a course?

It takes a couple of minutes, needs no account, and there is no fee during the founding period.
